Sniper Elite VR just needed to do 2 things to be decent: be a good Sniper Elite game, and be a good VR game. Unfortunately it did neither. It omits the sandbox-style tactical stealth action that the series is known for, and it fails to pull off even the most basic requirements of a VR FPS game. Sniper Elite 4 is game that can stand toe to toe with the likes of Metal Gear Solid V and Hitman, but its VR adaptation lacks that same quality. There are better Sniper Elite games to play than this, and there are also better VR games to play than this. Here’s why.
