This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit (the “Site”).

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about Device Information, and information submitted to our Forum as described in the previous paragraph.


We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how people browse and interact with the Site).

We use information submitted by you to the Forum to facilitate its operation as a place of discussion. We may use the e-mail address provided during registration for your forum account to verify your account as legitimate by sending a confirmation link by e-mail. You may also choose to opt-in to e-mail digests of forum activity, sent on a periodic basis, by enabling this feature in your forum account settings.


We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights. Otherwise, your Personal Information, except for that which is posted publicly on the Forum, is not shared with any third party.

The e-mail address provided by you during registration on the Forum may be visible to Administrators and other staff of the Site, but will not be visible to any other users. This e-mail address will not be shared with any third party, except as required to fulfill the uses described in the previous section (for example, if a third-party e-mail service is used to handle outgoing e-mail delivery from the Site or Forum).


Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.


If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

In specific regards to the Forum, we extend the Rights of Access, Rectification and Data Portability of Personal Information to all users via the "Your Rights & Consent" page, located at "[your-user-slug]/consent"[1]. In addition to the previous rights, European residents are also guaranteed the Right to Erasure under the GDPR, meaning that we are obligated to delete any and all of the Personal Information we have collected from you at your request. In general, your Personal Information will be retained by the Site for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. As discussed in the previous paragraph, European residents may also exercise their Right to Erasure (or "Right to be Forgotten", as it is sometimes called) to request the immediate deletion of their Personal Information.


The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. Accounts and Personal Information belonging to those found to be under the age of 13 are subject to immediate deletion.


We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. These changes may be made without notice, however, we will endeavour to contact and notify all of our users in the event that such a change is made.
