Best Physics Puzzles

  • Hey my dudes.

Just started following this site, and I gotta say there is not enough content like this out there. You all go so much more in depth than someone like Extra Credits.

So I thought I'd pick your brains about something. I'm working on a VR physics game with a heavy element of puzzles to solve. Think Portal (although without the Portal gun haha). I've found that most physics puzzle games rely on a handful of "gimmick" mechanics to revolve their puzzles around. Portal obviously has the portal gun, Zelda games have Link's various items, and many 2D puzzlers have a set of powers that you use to solve puzzles.

If that's all stripped down, and you're left with "you can just touch and pick up everything and everything has a rigidbody", what kind of puzzles would you do?

For the record, I'm not using you guys just to get started haha. Much of the game and its puzzles are already in place. I just wanted to get your input on the concept.
