It's really funny how interesting these unintended consequences can be. Especially the piece colors changing - it's amusing how nice some of the themes look, haha.I hadn't actually considered how difficult the constraints could be for NES play at the higher levels. In ideal play, the player can put the pieces wherever they want, but there are limits to how far pieces can move to either side, so there are additional constraints that make the problem harder than just "stacking nicely". It changes the strategy for when to skim too, since going too high up makes line clears impossible!
Really interesting stuff.
